Submissions must be 20″ x 30″, landscape format. Our hanging system uses clips that won’t work on drawings mounted on mat board or foam board.

You can personally drop off your entry at our office, you can mail it, or you can print through a local printer and have it sent to our address.

Submissions will not be returned. They may be picked up at Bushman Dreyfus Architects after the close of the exhibit, from May 8 to May 22. Entries not picked up will be discarded.

T&N Printing is a local printing company that helped print many of the boards for the 2018 competition. It is not a requirement to print with T&N; we created this FAQ for those who do plan on printing with them. They will also deliver prints to our office. To expedite the printing process and ensure timely delivery, here are a few guidelines to print through T&N if you choose to do so:

1. Please use T&N’s online form to submit artwork.
2. The deadline to print through T&N is 2 p.m. on February 11th.
3. Please pay in full when ordering. T&N will not release the prints until payment is received.
4. There are two options for print quality that we recommend:
   • Océ 600dpi Business Color: about $20 for a 20″ x 30″ print. We recommend this for artworks that are mainly linework and do not have ‘fills’ (photographs, paintings, etc.).
   • HP 1200dpi Matte Stock: about $40 for a 20″ x 30″ print. We recommend this for artwork that is mostly fills.
   • For those that go with the Océ 600dpi option, keep in mind this is a lighter paper, and will likely show streaks in the artwork if it does have ‘fills’.
   • Both of these options are matte finish (meaning not shiny). You are welcome to get a glossy or satin finish.
   • Please do not mount the prints (foamcore, etc.).
5. When ordering, enter your registration number and registration name in the ‘Special Instructions’ on the online order form, or in the body of your e-mail. T&N will print this information and write it on the back of your artwork. Please make sure to check your registration number when entering this information. T&N will deliver the prints to Bushman Dreyfus Architects.
